Since 2006
ANGEL is a beauty studio and academy founded in 2006 by Albanian businesswoman and artist, Vjosa Metaj.
Shortly after finishing her studies at AOFM – Academy of Freelance Makeup in London, Ms.Metaj went back to her hometown, Prishtina, to start her career as a makeup artist and contribute to the beauty industry by consistently bringing unique and progressive beauty trends.
Excelling at the art of makeup, Angel soon became a household name in the Albanian beauty industry.

Always elevating
Ms. Metaj flew back to London in 2011 to work at London Fashion Week as a makeup artist. Coming back home from such an experience inspired Vjosa to expand her brand into the field of hairstyling, too, as she saw it playing a very important role in the world of fashion and beauty, a business move that made a huge impact on Angel’s growth.
After years of successful endeavours in makeup & hairstyling, the founder and CEO of Angel Academy felt like it was time to grow bigger in team and, services. She wanted to help women feel confident and she knew makeup wasn’t the only tool she could use to achieve her dream. And that’s when the road of her journey in the beauty world widened.
In 2013 she became the third Master ever trained by Branko Babic for PhiBrows Eyebrow Microblading at PhiAcademy in Belgrade.
She wanted to add long-lasting and impactful services and, with eyebrows being the frame of the face she took on the art of Eyebrow Microblading, which attracted clients from all over Europe and even beyond.
Our Beautiful Home
In 2018 it was announced that Angel would go into a huge transformation and that they soon would bring in the newest beauty treatments and techniques, such as Microblading, Lash Lifting, Dental Hygiene, Laser Treatments, Tattoo Removal, and more, as brand new services offered at Angel.
But, that’s not all! Angel becoming a beauty academy means that now you can take part in trainings for Microblading, Nails, Makeup, Hair, and Lashes and come out of it as a certified aesthetician.
In 2019 Angel Academy came back with a brand new location and architecture that is still
talked about in awe. But, the most impressive thing about Angel Academy isn’t its’ beautiful home. It’s the dedicated, perfection-strived work that makes it stand out.
They’re also widely known for their hospitality.
Always making sure customers feel at home and comfortable, the team of Angel Academy is highly praised for the positive energy they own.
However, this isn’t where Angel and Vjosa are settling down! Angel Academy is going to continue leading and constantly empowering young talented individuals who love beauty and art by giving them opportunities to progress and make the most out of their creative skills.
